The cheer tree movement

The cheer tree movement is best summed up as an increase in hugging. A warm sensation, lacking in our world. Nearly everyone who has a cheer tree, agrees that there is an irresistible urge to hug it. How amazing, that this was part of the vision Dora had when she first set out to create the pillow.
It never was intended to border line any Zen, or new age movement theme. But I am learning that there may be nothing wrong with this at all. The craft is making people happy, and we are getting orders daily now. hat is so nice is that people are writing us, and expressing cheer, it's really amazing.
The pillow is 12" by 12", so it is hardly a grand sceptical. But as I am coming more educated in the world of crafts and crafting, I am learning that the true meaning of hand made, may really mean soul inspired. As I am looking at a world of amazing crafts, the creativity of the human spirit screams out and says's something about each and every product people are making with their hands. Never would i have imagined, that my interests, or hobbies would include crafting. i am sure my family feels the same. But hidden in all the excitement about Dora's cheer tree pillow, is the remarkable sense of family. We have all taken part and done something to increase the potential of her work. Best of all, we have teamed with some wonderful charity, and have much opportunity to make a difference. People often ask us what the secret to making crafts and having success in selling them is.
The truth is, I have no idea, and neither does Dora. I am sure our blog is different, our way of explaining things, and even the craft itself, is different. Maybe we beat to a different tune, by trying to inspire people with the cheer tree, because it's all new to me. I am sure that this grass roots approach has helped, because it keeps an honest and simple matter to it. But most of all, there is a divine intervention, and that is the love in our family, the love for trees, nature and the people who touch our lives daily. Maybe this is the secret.
